We have stayed at Sara’s Cottage at least 8 times over the last few years and feel that we have found the most perfect hideaway. Nestled far away from the hustle and bustle of modern life but within easy reach of some of the most beautiful places in Cornwall. The cottage is all you could wish for to make your holiday perfect. So tastefully decorated and comfortable. We love it.

Forget about the uncertainty arriving in an unknown summer house. Absolutely was as we hoped it should be. Sara’s Cottage is located on a lovely farm, far enough to be on a quiet, peaceful, undisturbed place, close enough to be in a short time to all places of interest. Watching the birds from the conservatory, having a cup of tea and calm down. That means to refill the batteries. The owners expected us with a gentil, warm welcome. Sara’s cottage is a perfect base to explore Cornwall and the surrounding area. The cottage itself is 5* with everything catered for.The warm welcome with scones and clotted cream was a lovely touch and the owners Diane and Terry were more than accommodating and very friendly. Sara’s cottage is a very comfortable, well-equipped property where the owner has left nothing to chance in the pursuit of making guests feel welcome. Comfy beds, soft pillows, warm duck down quilts, and plentiful thick, fluffy towels, along with a warm welcome made special with a Cornish cream tea and fresh flowers, combine with a great location ideal for accessing stunning coastline, wild brooding moors, and picturesque seaside villages, to make this a really special venue for a relaxing sojourn in a particularly beautiful county.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Sara’s cottage. The cottage itself was beautifully furnished with everything thought of. The location was excellent – for dog walks and good food. We ate at a different pub every day and never had a bad meal! I would thoroughly recommend this cottage and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Beautiful property and extremely well equipped. I would say this property has everything in the kitchen that you could possibly need. The added touches cream tea on arrival , butter, milk and beer in the fridge was lovely. The owners were very helpful and friendly but unobtrusive. We loved their Labrador Poppy and she was friendly to our little dog. All in all we would definitely recommend this cottage. One point, you definitely need a car and drive carefully on the narrow approach roads to the property.

All aspects of the cottage are excellent. The owner is very welcoming and we were greeted with a welcoming cream tea on the table. Local beer and bottle of bubbly in the fridge. This is the third visit in 5 years. Every visit has seen a small addition/improvement to the property. Our second visit saw the addition of a conservatory on the back of the property with a patio area which is a great sun trap. This year a shed/summer house had been added which contained wind break/chairs/body boards and also reclining chairs and deck chairs for the private rear garden.

Excellent well furnished cottage, like home from home. The cream tea, chocolates and local beers went down a treat. The cottage is in a great location for either the north or south coasts. Owners are friendly and happy to suggest places to visit or eat. Will definitely return again.

A beautiful countryside location for this spacious cottage, perfect home from home for your holiday! We stayed in the winter and we arrived to a warm glowing fire, cream tea and a comfy bed! You can sit in the conservatory & watch all of the wildlife. There is furniture outdoors for the summer months, a BBQ, sun loungers and all of the extras: picnic bag, blankets, boogie boards, buckets & spades, games, books, maps, DVDs and MORE!
