Come and spend some quality time together at Sara’s Cottage. Our peaceful, detached country residence is situated near the cathedral city of Truro in Cornwall.
We provide luxury self-catering accommodation for up to 6 guests. It’s the ideal holiday cottage for the whole family – dog-friendly, family-friendly and accessible.

Living Room
There’s a gorgeous open plan living room with seating around a cosy log-burner – perfect for those winter breaks or chatting with family whilst preparing dinner.
There’s a wall mounted TV with Netflix for when you want to stay in and relax. As the property is all on one level, you can move easily from the living room to take advantage of the lovely views of the garden from the garden room.
Dining Area
The slate floored dining area is perfect for family meals and a great spot to sit around with a coffee and plan the day.
You will find all the necessary equipment to cater and cook – electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer & dishwasher. A washing machine and tumble drier are supplied for your sole use in a small outdoor kitchen opposite the cottage.
Garden Room
A lovely sunny south facing room with two comfy sofas to allow enjoyment of the garden and many birds that visit the feeders throughout the year.
There is a large TV with Netflix and Amazon perfect for evening relaxation watching a movie.
Outside Space
Generous double doors lead from the Garden Room to the outside patio and dining area.
It’s a lovely place to relax or dine on a summer’s evening. The patio is accessible to wheelchair users.
Bedroom 1 – King Size Bed
You will enjoy a great night’s sleep in our King size bed complete with a non feather luxury quality duvet and pillows and Egyptian cotton linen. Separate from the other two bedrooms with an ensuite shower-room, washbasin and toilet you will be treated to privacy and comfort.
With plenty of wardrobe space, drawers and French style doors leading outside you’re only decisions will be how long to lie in and what to plan for your day out.
Bedroom 1 – Ensuite
Freshen up in your own ensuite with shower, washbasin and toilet.
There are grab handles in the shower and by the toilet as accessibility aids for those less steady on their feet.
There is a wall mounted magnified shaving/make-up mirror, a mirrored cabinet with lights and a shaver point located inside.
Bedroom 2 – (Superking & Twin options)
This spacious bedroom features a Superking size bed which can be split into two 3ft wide single beds for adults. Fitted out with a luxury non feather duvet, pillows and Egyptian cotton bedding.
This room has a single wide door leading outside to the sunny patio. There is a wall mounted TV with Netflix. Leading from this room is a beautiful ensuite wet-room.
Bedroom 2 – Ensuite
This room is a large wet-room suitable for the less mobile or a wheelchair user. Complete with the appropriate grab handles, wall mounted lit bathroom cabinet with shaver point and a wall mounted magnified make-up/shaving mirror.

Bedroom 3 – (King Size & Twin options)
Our third double bedroom features a King sized bed which can be split into two small singles suitable for children. As with all our bedrooms it is sumptuously fitted with Egyptian cotton sheets, and non-feather luxury duvet and pillows. There’s plenty of wardrobe and storage space and two bedside cabinets with lamps for bedtime. There is a wall mounted TV with Netflix. Once again, there are double doors leading to the outside. This bedroom is across the hall from the family bathroom which can be used as a private bathroom for this room.
Family Bathroom
Take time to soak in the tub in the family bathroom and ease those muscles after an invigorating walk in the Cornish countryside.
There’s also a fitted shower and shaving point – and grab handles by the bath and toilet are provided as accessibility aids.
Just off the hallway and close to bedrooms 2 and 3.
