Cornwall Council has reviewed the dog ban on its beaches.  The outcome is that if there is a ban, it is now restricted to July and August only between 10am and 6pm.  This is great news for dog lovers and families.

Children can enjoy the beach during the day in the main school holidays and dogs can play on the beach at all other times.

Of course there are many beaches that already allow dogs all year round.  (138 at the last count).  Here are some within easy reach from the cottage : Perranporth, Holywell Bay, Crantock, Loe Bar, Trevaunance Cove, Trevellas Porth and Godrevy Cove.
