All aspects of the cottage are excellent. The owner is very welcoming and we were greeted with a welcoming cream tea on the table. Local beer and bottle of bubbly in the fridge. This is the third visit in 5 years. Every visit has seen a small addition/improvement to the property. Our second visit saw the addition of a conservatory on the back of the property with a patio area which is a great sun trap. This year a shed/summer house had been added which contained wind break/chairs/body boards and also reclining chairs and deck chairs for the private rear garden.
We’ve been using Classics for nearly 10 years and this is instantly one of our favourite cottages. Warm, comfortable, well equipped and bigger than we expected. It is well located for getting around and even though we were out every day I was surprised at how little fuel we used! The birds (and squirrel) entertained us in the garden as we sat in the conservatory. Care is needed when exiting the lane from the farm as visibility is not great, other than that, we had a great holiday and Sara’s cottage is on our short list.
